Citation Impact Factors

The current Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson-Reuters) 2-year citation impact factor for the Journal of Institutional Economics is 2.139.

This is higher than the Cambridge Journal of Economics, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and several other leading journals (see below).

The current IDEAS/RePEc Simple Impact Factor of the Journal of Institutional Economics is 2.802.

The Journal of Institutional Economics was added to the Clarivate Analytics (Thomson-Reuters) citation listings in 2011. The 2016 impact factor is based on 2016 citations throughout the social sciences to articles published in this journal in 2014 and 2015.
